We offer advice and guidance about society’s expectations, for example giving informed choices about suitable clothing appropriate for weather conditions or social etiquette through an individuals preferred communication requirements.
This could be through discussion, visual schedules or shared experience to provide support as required.

Relaxed atmosphere

We create a relaxed atmosphere where the individual feels safe to discuss personal issues, wishes and aspirations. We also encourage personal growth and development, we do this through listening, being honest, truthful and managing realistic expectations, to provide the best possible outcome and experience.

Learning

Promote opportunities for ongoing learning by using local education facilities and individual 1:1 time to discuss plans, where we offer appropriate support in order to maximize personal development to their ability.

Working in partnership

We provide appropriate intervention as determined by the individuals Care Plan. This is achieved by working in partnership with all individuals and professionals involved in the person’s life. To enable to live their best possible life.
